I had so much fun checking out Picasa's web albums. It reminded me a lot of Photobucket's set-up but I found it to be very uder-friendly. I found this image. It took me a minute to figure it out, but what an amazing shot it is! (Although when you look at where it was taken, you get very different symbolism out of it.)

Thing 5
I have always been fasinated with photos. I'm not a scrapbooker, only because I simply don't have the time. However, I am a daily user of the photo services on Myspace and Facebook. I have noticed that Myspace seems to adopt a lot of the applications you get from Facebook, mainly tagging photos. I love this because it emliminates the step of having to email a copy of the photo to individuals you want to have that photo. Facebook also has a really neat feature that allows individuals to view your site without being members of Facebook, or your friends on Facebook.
Here is an example of one of my albums on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=16092&id=226601560&l=488f5
I have used photobucket in the past. I like some of those features but now that Facebook and MySpace have so many options for photos, I eliminated Photobucket because it is just one more step. One site I do use is Shutterfly. I like using them because you can make amazing photo books (they make great gifts) for family and friends- at an affordable price!

My 7 1/2 Habits
I enjoyed the clip about the 7 1/2 Habits of Lifelong Learning. I think it is important to understand that life is a learning process and I don't think there has ever been a day where I haven't learned something. The Habit that is the easiest for me is accepting responsibility for my own learning (Habit 2). I can't ever blame not learning something on someone else. It is critical to always take responsibility for your actions and the same applies for the lack of action in your learning adventure. The Habit I will have the most difficulty with is Having Confidence in my Learning Process. I tend to be pessimistic and I have a difficult time seeing "the light at the end of the tunnel" so-to-speak in many situations. I am working on that:) I can't wait for the rest of my steps.
